The game is super fun and really adorable. But I felt that what was there worked and wasn’t particularly tough at any point, but neither was it a cakewalk. I would also have liked to see harder multi-room puzzles. I also liked how some of the mechanics were foreshadowed before they were actually used, though I think at least one early “special mechanic” (the ) was not used later on at all and I thought that was a bit of a shame. Epiphany City Steam Reviewsīeing some examples where I didn’t fully follow the logic even after solving them - though this last one apparently might have been due to a launch-day bug in the end) but overall those were a very thin minority and I enjoyed the puzzles overall. There were exceptions though, with a couple rather obtuse rooms (the cake room, the last camera room, and a couple of the garden rooms.

The goal of each room was fairly clear, it was just the matter of how to do the thing you needed to do, rather than having to figure out how to even progress. Puzzles: It has a lot of them, but by and large they aren’t difficult since each puzzle is mostly self-contained within a room, except when you had to gather items from multiple rooms to one place to pass some barrier.

The ending was extremely satisfying, if a bit abrupt. It tries to hit an emotional note but I don’t think it really succeeds due to the length of the game. Rather dark background) though, but they do acknowledge that. The start was a bit heavy (both in terms of narration/cutscene and in terms of setting up Lily’s.

They weren’t super obvious since I don’t purposely try to guess at what’s coming up, but they fit into the story so well.

A few plot twists were also tried and I found them to be good. I like arcs and the game flirted with that theme a tiny bit, which was a pleasant surprise. I appreciated the story and particularly adored the depiction of the main character and her struggles with depression, as well as her awesome best friend. I thought that was perfectly fine and enjoyable though, just don’t expect scientific reasons as to why things work the way they do or why animals talk. It started off as a bit of a campy superhero story set in a mildly magical world, before tossing in a few plot twists. Just started the game, but the first hours a a blast… so much comedy, funny writing and clever puzzles! One was a bit hard and took me longer, but all others are very creative! Will add more after i finished the game, but wanted to give the game a positive note, so more people hear of it. Def feel a lot of love was put into the game. The characters are charming and I like a lot of the world NPCs. Oh and the action sequences were fun too! The puzzles are fun and the story is interesting so far. I was so invested in the characters and loved the big reveal at the end. It was fun and fresh with a heartfelt story that had me tearing up.

First Person Tennis – The Real Tennis Simulator VR So much love and attention was poured into every detail of this game from the story to the characters the art, music, and sound design and the gameplay and puzzles. Props for the ending giving a certain pompous fool a proper serving of reality. Characters were well though out, played nicely, and felt mostly real, while still portraying this as a game. Basically, the end game lacks the consistency were were used to. Some of the end game mechanics came right out of nowhere, with no buildup, and would never be used again. Some of the puzzles were not exactly intuitive, seeing as they required un-training of mechanics that were trained in immediately, such as being unable to place slides on water.
